Blessington – Return to Training
We wanted to let you know about our plans for our return to the dojang for Blessington students.
As you know, Master Keane and the team have been working tirelessly throughout the Spring and Summer to provide suitable Zoom classes for Blessington students at least 4 times a week. Zoom, however, doesn’t necessarily suit all students, so we are delighted to finally make it back to the dojang for in-person classes.
Please read on to find out start date, rules and actions required by you.
Due to Covid, we have had to restructure the classes somewhat and we are keeping students to a maximum of 6 per class. We will however have two classes running at each class period (upstairs & downstairs).
Classes will begin THIS SATURDAY (3rd October). We will stick with Saturday only for the moment until we are fully comfortable with the new format. After that, we will begin to introduce some adult classes on Wednesday evenings.
- Each person in the group of 6 will be assigned a class name: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo or Foxtrot
- You will be contacted separately, via WhatsApp, with your class name.
- Each class will be assigned a specific time (9:30, 10:15 or 11:00) and room (Upstairs or Downstairs).
RULES:
- Anyone over the age of 12 should wear a mask during training. To be honest, it’s not particularly comfortable, but it will be mandatory.
- Students with any kind of illness (cold, flu) and/or Covid symptoms should not attend the dojang.
- Anyone who is waiting on results of a Covid test should not attend the dojang.
- Anyone who has been in contact with person who is waiting on the results of a test or has tested positive for Covid should not attend the dojang for 14 days after the last contact.
- You must sign into your specific class 1 hour beforehand using the link below – this allows for contact traceability.
ACTION REQUIRED BY YOU:
- Complete the form at this link (https://forms.gle/EgHh9qzHWdpXL1Lu8) for each member you are registering for training this year (even if we have your details already).
- Only pay the association fees for the oldest TWO members of any family at this link (https://www.taekwon.ie/pay-fees). Scroll down until you see “2020 Association Fees”.
- 1 hour before each class, each member should sign into their assigned class using this link (https://www.picktime.com/taekwon). Click on Blessington, and then choose YOUR class name. You must agree to T&Cs that you have washed your hands before class and have had your temperature checked and that it is not above 38C.
FEES:
The RITA has reduced the Association Fees for the year Sept 2020 – Sept 2021. The fees are €50 per adult and €25 per child and only the eldest two members of any family should be paid for.
Master Keane has also reviewed the training fees and the following MONTHLY standard fees (payable in advance) will apply for the foreseeable future:
MONTHLY FEES:
In an effort to make things run smoothly and remove the need for cash handling we would really appreciate it if you could move to paying by monthly subscription using the button provided below:
1 Class per Week
Adults: €35
Juniors: €25 (including Tigers & Dragons)
2 x Juniors: €40
3 x Juniors: €60
1 x Adult + 1 x Junior: €60
1 x Adult + 2 or more Juniors: €75
You will note that Tigers & Dragons has moved to a monthly fee as opposed to ‘per term’. Moving everything to a monthly fee allows us to easier deal with impacts of Covid shutdowns, should they occur.
